Getting around on Waiheke Island:

If you want to reach Waiheke Island via air then you need to drop down at the Waiheke Island Aerodrome. Regular Passenger ferries available till midnight on weekdays and till 10 Pm on Sunday at a gap of minimum 35 minutes. For getting around the Island you can take advantage of bus service or can even book Taxi, cars and even e bikes for exploration of the place.

The perfect time to visit Waiheke is during the summer months. Tourist rush is pretty high during the festival time of Christmas and New Year. As per the tourism industry report Waiheke is a holiday island and the period anywhere between end of October to April is marked as “peak” time.
