Fiji

The island of Fiji is one of the most popular tropical destinations in the world and for good reason. The island itself is filled with natural beauty and the friendly population welcomes tourists from all around the world. While there are many things to see and do in Fiji, easily the most popular is visiting the beaches that are located around the island and on the many smaller islands that make up the country.

Here are a few of the best beaches that Fiji has to offer which you should visit, especially if you want to take in some of the best scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and that you will never forget.

Castaway Island

Looking more like a dream than a real location, Castaway Island, which is just off the shore of Fiji, offers one of the most beautiful stretches of beaches to be found in the South Pacific. In addition to the stunning beaches is a four-star resort which will make your stay even more comfortable as you soak in the sun, wonder through the rainforest, or swim in the ocean.

Honeymoon Beach

A great location for newly married couples, this is one of 14 beautiful beaches on Turtle Island, which is part of a private resort. Rocky headlands, leaning palms, and stunning views of the ocean, you’ll enjoy your stay on this beach and the resort. However, the island itself only has room for 14 couples, so you will need to book early if you want to see this marvelous sight.

Horseshoe Bay

A stunning beach, the horseshoe-shaped beach offers an incredible sight as you walk along the soft sands. It is the perfect place for couples and families that want to get away from it all to soak in the sun and play numerous water sports. If you only can visit one beach in Fiji, then this is certainly one to consider.

Liku Beach

Liku means “sunset” in the native language of Fiji, which well describes this remarkable beach that is seemingly from another time. This is because the 3,000-foot beach stretches along a sharp, vertical backdrop of rocks and hills that make it seem like a dinosaur is lurking just over the top. Still, it is a peaceful setting that makes for a great place for couples to visit, especially if you stay at the adults-only Tokoriki Island Resort.

Seagrass Bay

This jaw-dropping beach on Laucala Island offers long stretches of soft sand that is perfect for sunbathing. However, the ocean itself also offers some of the best swimming and snorkeling opportunities in all of Fiji. There are only 25 villas with access to the private beach, so you will need to make your reservations early.

If you are going to visit Fiji, you will probably not be able to see all the great beaches that are located on the island itself or the surrounding islands. Still, even if you only visit a few, then you should consider those on this list.
